These heaters are energy star rated and qualify for a one time $30 PG&E rebate. Since they are H.E., units they perform better and use less energy than most tank units on the market. They are ultra low emission units ( Low Nox) and put out up to 75% less emissions than your standard water heater. The units are installed with dual anode rods which prolong the life of the tank and extend the warranty on these units to 10 years. Expect a life span of 15 to 20 years on these units. |
